OKM I, OKM II Classic, and OKM II Stereo are good for recording speech and interviews. It’s suggested to use them with an A3 Adaptor for better quality.
We recently introduced the Interface D1, which lets you record interviews and speeches on your iPhones or Android cellphones.
OKM II Classic is great for recording natural sounds such as bird songs. It works well for very quiet sounds or when the source is far away from the microphone.
We also collaborated with Rykote GB to develop a windscreen for OKM microphones that preventing disruptive noises, even in strong winds.
OKM II Rock is recommended for handling extremely high volumes like rock concerts, with a distortion limit of 141 dB, making it suitable for heavy metal bands.
For recording classical music it is suitable to use OKM II Classic with A3 Adaptor or digital interface Interface D1 to give better results
