The OKM II Classic is particularly suitable for music with medium sound pressure. But also for field recording and ASMR recording. The microphone can be supplied with an A3 adapter for portable recorders or alternatively with the D1 interface for recordings with a mobile phone.

 

To build each OKM microphone system, we use carefully selected, computer-matched pairs of top-quality microphone capsules. For the most critical stereo applications, we offer the “Studio” option of the OKM II Classic. This version is specially selected for an excellent frequency response and a perfect channel match, guaranteeing the best possible stereo image localization and outstanding performance.

Soundman OKM II studio solo

The Soundman OKM II studio solo is designed for demanding stereo recording applications, providing natural, transparent sound reproduction and excellent spatial imaging.

Each microphone system is manufactured using carefully selected, computer-matched pairs of high-quality microphone capsules. The Studio version offers particularly close matching between the left and right channels, ensuring precise stereo localization and outstanding recording performance.

Worn directly in the ears, the microphones capture sound from the listener’s perspective, creating a realistic binaural stereo experience.

Applications in Car Hi-Fi

The OKM II studio solo is also suitable for evaluating car audio systems from the driver’s listening position. Its excellent channel matching makes it particularly useful for assessing stereo imaging, spatial balance, and sound localization inside a vehicle.

The microphones can be used with the A3 adapter for compatible portable recorders or with the D1 interface for compatible mobile devices.
